Born in 1973 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and since 1989 he has lived and worked in Belgrade, Serbia.

Professional photographer since 1996. He had 9 solo exhibitions and numerous group ones.

Until 2002, he was a photo reporter for daily newspapers and magazines, after which he opened his own studio.

His photos have been published in numerous domestic and foreign magazines and newspapers (Status, Elle-Croatia, Mark magazine – the Netherlands, Toyota British magazine, Daily telegraph, Sunday Telegraph …), in brochures, posters, books, billboards, advertisements, fashion agencies, as well as on numerous websites.

He won two awards for innovation in photography, in 2006 and 2007, when he exhibited virtual photographs for the first time in Serbia.

Since 2010 – lecturer on subject of digital photography at several different workshops and courses.

From 2012 to 2016, lecturer at the Faculty of Media and Communications, subject – “Synthetic Photography”.

  • Solo exhibition of photographs in the Zemun tower Gardoš “MECHANISMUS”, 2016. As part of the first Belgrade Photo Month
  • The Jewish Museum in Berlin, as part of the “Obedience” project by Saskia Boddeke and Peter Greenaway, exhibited 10 photographs by Igor Mandić from the series “Portraits of Hands”, 2015.
  • Solo exhibition of photographs in the Zemun tower Gardoš “Rorschach test”, 2015.
  • Solo exhibition of photographs “Portraits of Hands” in the gallery “Bartselona” in Belgrade, 2015.
  • In 2015, he launched with Tomislav Peternek and Goran Kukić a traveling photographic project “Traveling of 3 lenses” – a traveling exhibition of photographs and forums – workshops on photography, so far realized in 27 cities in Serbia.
